Dear Parents, Carers and Friends of All Saints

Already, we are in Week 4 and the end of the school year is fast approaching.

The last few weeks have been very busy. On Friday 1 November we celebrated All Saints Day with a Mass in the morning, sausages in bread in the middle part of the day (thanks All Saints Community) and our inaugural All Saints Talent Showcase. And boy does All Saints have some talent to showcase!

SAVE THE DATE - pop this date in your diary for our our annual Thanksgiving Liturgy and Christmas Concert.  More information will follow soon.

Join our Deputy Principal, Nick Wright and members of the All Saints Community at our final meeting of 2019 at 9:00am Thursday, 5 December in The Nest.

Join our guest speaker from Catholic Education Office, Chris Payne, the Leading Learning Consultant EAL, to discover how you can support your child in all aspects of Literacy.

All Saints is seeking donations of "Loose Parts" for the children to play with.  Loose parts are materials that can be moved, carried, combined, redesigned, lined up, and taken apart and put back together in multiple ways, eg: Tyres, pots, crates, materials, lids, timber, funnels, etc.

A staff member will be accepting donations at the Loop Drop-off between 8:15-8:45am from Monday 18th - Friday, 22nd November, 2019.

Principal Sleepout 2019

Show your support for our very own Principal, Liz Keogh who will be sleeping under the stars to raise money to help Vinnies bring an end to homelessness in South Australia. Click Here for further details.

This week the Reception Williams children have participated in swimming lessons. Each day the children have walked to the swimming centre and taken part in personalised swimming programs.  The children enjoyed learning about safe swimming practices and playing a range of fun water based games. Their favourite part of swimming was getting to jump or dive into the pool, causing big splashes! 

I enjoyed practising my doggy paddle and my dive into the deep end - Thomas 
I loved it when I got to star float on the top of the water, like a star fish - Sarah 
I really loved putting my head under water - Isaiah 
I loved jumping into the water because it’s super warm - Grace 

The children have had a fun but tiring week. 

On 1 November we recognise All Saints Day, a solemn Holy Day of the Catholic Church. The day is dedicated to the Saints of the Church, that is, all those who have attained Heaven.

This week 32 All Saints children from year 3-6 participated in the SACPSSA Lacrosse Carnival at West Beach. The children showed good sportsmanship and played very well, coming away with quite a few wins. Despite being a hot day, the children gave it their all. Go All Saints !

We advise that the final day of Term 4, Friday 13 December, 2019 will be a Pupil Free Day!

We invite you to join us at our whole school Liturgy from 10:45am on Remembrance Day 2019.

Join us for a cabaret performance celebrating the All Saints children currently working with a music tutor or in the Choir program. Tuesday, 26 November @ 6:00pm in the Hall
